The only thing we love more than a great party is a party with an awesome theme. And the only thing we love more than a party with an awesome theme is a get-together that brings attention to a worthy cause.

Our good friend Michelle Bilodeau recently found out that her father has been diagnosed with a form of leukemia called acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and being the purposeful girl that she is, has decided to take action by throwing a classic ’70’s rock and roll-themed party in her dad’s honour.
The Night Moves Party is taking place at Niagara Street Café on Wednesday, August 24. The event will raise funds for AML and leukemia, with proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, who work hard to fight blood cancers, raise awareness and lend support to those diagnosed.
Of course, a 70’s themed rock and roll party gets our fashionable minds racing with costume ideas, like some cute bells with a belly baring top, but obviously this party is not just about fashion and music. Rest assured that if you attend you will not be engaging in “slacktevism”. Every dollar raised through the $25 entry fee goes to benefit the LLSC. There will also be a silent auction and swag-filled gift bags.
