It may be ok for the cast of Mean Girls to only wear pink on Wednesdays, but when it comes to October, we’re all about wearing the colour/eating anything pink/supporting anything that supports breast cancer research. Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, after all. On The Fourth Floor, we’re a group of classy, charity-minded ladies who are also breast-health conscious, therefore this is a cause we definitely all get behind. With that in mind, we’ve rounded-up our favourite products in support of a good cause. And if you’re going to be spending money, you might as well make a difference at the same time right? (RIGHT.)
Girls love froyo! Boys love froyo! Everyone loves this ice cream alternative, which has less fat and fewer calories. Yogurty’s and Yogen Früz proudly support Healthy Cups and have partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to develop a naturally pink flavour for October, Strawberry Cheesecake, which is also the first froyo to feature Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese. 10% of the proceeds will be donated toward the CBCF. Froyo lovers can also head into stores and make a $1 donation to receive a pink froyo cup wall pinny that will decorate stores in pink. Donations to the CBCF depend on customers, so do your part to spread the word by tweeting to @Yogurtys or @YogenFruz with the hashtag #ISupportHealthyCups.
