What you’ll need:
1 ripe avocado
1 ripe banana
1 egg white or 1 tablespoon of olive oil or 1 tablespoon of honey or 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or 1 tablespoon of plain, unsweetened yogurt (so.many.options)
Mash the avocado and banana together with a fork.
Choose your binding ingredient and add to your banana and avocado mixture. If you’re feeling adventurous, pick two!
- Egg white – best for treating wrinkles and fine lines
- Olive oil – best for treating dry skin
- Honey – best for treating acne
- Lemon – best for treating clogged pores and dull skin
- Yogurt – best for treating combination skin
Carefully apply to your face and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
Bonus tip: place cucumber slices over your eyes – this works to reduce puffiness, plus it’ll help you get into the ‘at home spa’ mood.
Wash off et voilà! You officially have a fresh faced summer glow without leaving the house or whipping out your wallet.
Enjoy the glow!
