Boss Lady seeks to encourage, empower and educate women coming together to share stories of self, success and struggle. Join this movement and connect with a group of strong and positive women. Tuesday, April 25: Art Battle Toronto

Check out Toronto’s Art Battle at The Great Hall, showcasing local artists and a live painting tournament. Apply at ArtBattle.com to participate as one of the featured artists or join in the fun as a spectator. The winner will advance to the City Finals, with a chance to paint in the National Championships this summer.

 Thursday, April 27: Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival

Running April 27 until May 7, North Americas largest documentary film festival, Hot Docs, will present its 24th edition, showcasing 200+ films from across the globe. Topping our must-see list is Bird on a Wire, House of Z, Susanne Bartsch: On Top and Chavela. With screenings taking place at theatres all over the city there is plenty of filmic love to go around!

Sunday, April 30: Learn how to taste like a Sommelier – “Wine Essentials” 5 week tasting course

International Sommelier, Samuel Quartier, will teach you how to pair wines with every meal, while learning all about wine in a fun and relaxed atmosphere in the five week tasting course. Held at East-Thirty Six Restaurant, each week will present a new topic with at least six wines and food pairings Starting this Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
