The temperature has dropped and our Halloween candy has been eaten, which can only mean one thing: holiday season is upon us! Whether you’re a die-hard Christmas music fan or skew more Scrooge than Buddy the Elf, experience a little seasonal magic this month by checking out some of the best holiday window displays in the city.
Hudson’s Bay Company, Queen Street
Renowned for being one of the most iconic displays in the city, the historic department store unveiled its windows with a huge concert last week. Don’t fret if you missed it – these windows will be on display all season, so when you’re getting your shopping done at the Eaton Centre, skip the brand new bridge (as stunning as it is!) and cross the street to see scenes with themes such as Winter Woodlands and Holiday Circus.
Saks Fifth Avenue, Queen Street
Right next door but with an entirely different theme, Saks Fifth Avenue collaborated with Disney for a display that pays homage to the 80th anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This one is a must-see for for all Disney fans, young and old!
Holt Renfrew, Bloor Street
Looking for a high-end gift for your special someone? Holt Renfrew is definitely the place to be, and be sure to pause on your way in to admire the stunning windows. A chicer take on classic holiday displays, the mannequins are styled in designer clothing sure to give you some inspiration for your holiday party outfits.
Tiffany & Co, Bloor Street
Although yet to be revealed, make sure you keep an eye out for the Tiffany & Co display. With year-round small-but-gorgeous window displays stunning enough to make you stop in the street and gawk, the iconic brand’s always classy holiday windows are sure to be a remarkable treat for holiday shoppers.
